The story goes a little something like this…

Once upon a time, when our Italian mother started dating our non-Italian father, she worried that her Nonna (aka Italian grandmother) would not approve of the relationship. In an effort to win her approval, she told her that his last name was… Fentonelli. Have you ever heard of such a strong, authentic, Italian name? Neither had her Nonna, but she went along with it until eventually our mother came clean. It turns out that the name wasn’t what mattered. It was the love that was most important. Our great-grandmother gave their relationship her blessing, and they are celebrating 40+ years and counting…

This restaurant is a celebration of family. These are some of the recipes we grew up eating, and the kinds of foods best enjoyed with those you love.
